It has been an amazing kayaking season but we are not done yet!This event is Halloween themed so feel free to dress up in your favorite costume or something spooky. You can also decorate your kayak and remember to light it up!
The event begins at 6:30pm at Tom Patterson Island. At 6:30pm, paddlers will circle the island a few times before heading down the river and back. Spectators can view from anywhere along the river but will get the best view from the island. Paddlers and spectators are all encouraged to dress up and join in on our Halloween theme.
Since the event starts at 6:30pm, we ask that all paddlers arrive prior to allow themselves time to decorate and be on the water and at the island for 6:30.
The theme is just a suggestion but lights, lifejackets, and safety kits are a requirement. Additionally, we remind everyone to dress appropriately for the weather as well as bring things like bug spray to make the night as enjoyable as possible.
On behalf of Sue and Myself, we would like to thank everyone for another amazing Light Up The Night Kayaking season. Fun was had, memories were made, and most importantly... we look forward to many amazing years to come just like this one!
