Halloween at the Space Centre: A Horror Double Feature
Saturday, October 31, 2026
Spend Halloween night at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre with a double feature of space-themed horror movies! Join us for an evening of suspense, sci-fi horror and extraterrestrial chaos, featuring Event Horizon at 6 PM and the cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space at 8:30 PM.
Whether you're in the mood for a darker sci-fi thriller or a 1980s horror classic, it's a Halloween movie night you won't want to miss.
Movie Schedule
6:00 PM – Event Horizon (1997) | 1 hr 36 min | 18A
A rescue crew is sent to investigate the mysterious reappearance of a spacecraft that disappeared during its first mission to explore the edges of the solar system. What they discover aboard the ship soon turns into a terrifying fight for survival.
8:30 PM – Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) | 1 hr 28 min | 14A
When strange, circus-like aliens arrive on Earth in a bizarre spacecraft resembling a big-top tent, a small town finds itself under attack. These aren't ordinary clowns — they're extraterrestrial creatures with a deadly sense of humour. This cult classic blends sci-fi, horror and campy 1980s dark humour.
