It’s that time of year again for tricks, treats and tunes, otherwise known as “Halloween in The Village”, presented by the City of Big Bear Lake! Halloween in The Village provides a safe environment for families with children to trick or treat, as well as a great opportunity for people of all ages and well-behaved dogs to get dressed up in their best costumes and rock out at a FREE concert. Local favorites “The Spazmatics” will be returning for their third year to play all your favorite hits from the 80’s! The dog costume contest is back popular demand, but this time, it will be in front of Oliver's Emporium. Enter your pup for the chance to win some pawsome prizes and bragging rights! WHAT TO EXPECT:
◾ 4-7 PM: Trick-or-Treating
◾ 4 PM: Dog Costume Contest at Oliver’s Emporium
◾ 6-7:30 PM: Free Concert featuring 80's New Wave Tribute Band The Spazmatics. Entertainment provided by Visit Big Bear.
PARKING:
No parking will be in effect starting at 8 AM throughout the full enclosure, which includes Village Dr. from Bonanza Trail to Stocker Rd. and Pine Knot Ave. from Cameron Dr. to Stone Rd. We encourage you to park in one of the following public parking lots:
◾ Bartlett
◾ Knickerbocker
◾ Pennsylvania
◾ Cottage
◾ Indian Village (near Oakside Restaurant)
While you’re there, don’t forget to grab a bite to eat at one of the delicious restaurants in The Village and maybe do some shopping!
