There will be plenty of people to dance with at Color Club this Halloween for Heart of Chicago Soul Club’s Big Chicago Halloween Dance Party, Friday, October 31st from 7:30pm to 1am. Costumes are encouraged!
Heart of Chicago Soul Club is Chicago’s women-led soul club and a two-time runner-up for Best Dance Party in Chicago, by the Chicago Reader. DJs Debbie, Kat, Ricki, and Psyche Prissy Pie will be casting their all-vinyl, rare soul, and Northern Soul magic on Color Club’s enchanted ballroom, with a dash of vintage 60’s soul, R&B, garage, psychedelic, and 70’s. We are very excited to announce that our special guests Shaun Callon and Debbie Thornhill from our UK twin club, Blackburn Oldies Northern Soul Club, who will spin some spectacular records. Color Club will be the place to be this Halloween, so make your plans to join us and get your tickets today!
This is an all-ages event (under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult 25+) 21+ can be served alcohol at the bar.

Two years ago DJ Debbie went over to the UK to Blackpool to meet the northern friends she made on livestreams during the pandemic. They had an unforgettable time DJing and dancing at Woody’s in Blackpool, celebrating the Wigan Casino 50th Anniversary, and dancing through the weekender at the Skegness Soul Weekender and in Manchester at the Prestwich Charity All Dayer. They hit it off so well that it was decided to twin the Heart of Chicago Soul Club with the Blackburn Oldies Northern Soul Club! We are so excited to have Blackburn Oldies, Shaun Callon, and Debbie Thornhill on our decks this Halloween! It will be such a treat to have these two fun and friendly DJs as guests with us. Both happen to be original Wigan Casino members and current DJs from the current Northern Soul scene. This will be their first time spinning in Chicago, so come give them a warm welcome.
This is an all ages event. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (25+).
