Halloween Costume Workshop: Science Fiction

Need help designing your Halloween costume? Want to dress up, but don't feel confident in making your great idea look as good as it does in your head? Come to our Makerspace Costume Workshop to boost your skills in Halloween makeup, prop design and construction, and sewing!

This week's theme is SCI-FI: turn everyday materials into realistic props to make your robot, spacefarer, or cyberpunk costume stand out! Get some practice with metallic makeup, or brainstorm ways to incorporate existing medical devices into a costume to truly make it one of a kind! Note: some materials used in the workshop may contain latex or other allergens.

Recently, we've had an issue with people not showing up for classes they have signed up for. This wastes our AmeriCorps members' time resources and the Innovation Hub's financial resources. Due to this issue, we will be charging for most classes from now on. Please, contact [email protected] if you need your fee waived for any reason. If you sign-up, show up. Thank you.
