It's that time of year again – the most enjoyable night of the year! Our Halloween Doggy Costume Contest is back! We know you've been eyeing those doggy costumes at Target, thinking, "I love this, but when will I ever use it?" Well, now's your chance! Your pup not only gets to strut around the park in their costume but also has the opportunity to win $500 in cash prizes!There are a few changes from last year. This year, we'll be doing two categories. The first is "Best Human & Dog Duo Costume" where both you and your pup's costume will be judged. The second is "Best Dog Costume" where just your pups' costumes will be considered. You are only allowed to enter into one category!
The prize for "Best Human & Dog Duo Costume" is $300 plus a $20 gift card to Brew Park.
The prize for "Best Dog Costume" is $200 plus a $20 gift card to Brew Park.
Unlike previous years, we'll also have a bar stationed in the park, so you won't have to leave to refresh your beverage!
Last, we'll be providing mystery goodie bags to participants while supplies last!
The following is an itinerary for what the evening will look like:
6:30-7:15 - Check-in & Hangout
At this time we encourage attendees to hangout and get some food or drinks! Note: dogs can be in costume but owners are responsible for any damages.
7:15-7:30 - Costume Preparation
If your dog is not in costume, now is the time to get them dressed up!
7:30-7:45 - "Best Human & Dog Duo Costume" Parade
At this time, contestants will form a line around the park’s perimeter and one-by-one parade their outfit and their pup's past the judge’s table, where we’ll take a quick picture.
7:45-8:00 - "Best Dog Costume" Parade
At this time, contestants will form a line around the park’s perimeter and one-by-one parade their pup past the judge’s table, where we’ll take a quick picture.
8:15 - Awards Ceremony
Around this time judges will announce the winners for "Best Human & Dog Duo Costume" and "Best Dog Costume."
Tickets are $20 and include park admission for non-members. Tickets are $10 for Brew Park members!
