Halloween Bookmarks Embroidery
About this Event
These felt triangle bookmarks fit over the corner of a page and save your place without damaging the paper. In the session, you will get to choose your design and be walked through how to successfully stitch it using a few different embroidery techniques. Don't worry if halloween is not your thing as other non-seasonal designs will be available, too.
Suitable for complete beginners and all abilities welcome. All tools and materials provided.
About the tutor:
Jasmine is an embroidery and textiles artist working and living in Edinburgh. Her work has centred on the natural environment since the beginning and she continues to find unending motivation in the unique ecosystems of Scotland. Jasmine’s work is also deeply enriched by her experience of disability and desire to improve access to the arts for all.
Donation:
There's an optional donation to go towards the running costs of the classes - Eventbrite requires £1 to be entered in the box but we can refund that in cash when you attend the class. It stops people booking up all the free tickets then not showing up!
