A Spooky & Sweet Halloween Slow Roll
Friendly ghosts and goblins, get ready for a perfect autumn evening on two wheels! You're cordially invited to a Halloween bike ride that's all about community, respect, and enjoying the spooky season at a leisurely pace.
The Vibe: This is a slow, social, and law-abiding roll. We will ride as a single, predictable group, obeying all traffic laws, signals, and stop signs. Our priority is to be respectful and safe for everyone on the road—fellow riders, drivers, and pedestrians alike.
🎃 The Spooky & Sweet Itinerary:
· Meet Up: Sunday, October 26th at 5:00 PM
· Location: Pierhead Lighthouse
· The Route:
1. We'll roll out from the lighthouse and make our first delicious stop at Leon's Frozen Custard for a treat.
2. Then, we'll ride peacefully past the historic Forest Home Cemetery, where we will be especially quiet and respectful.
3. Next, we'll head to Humboldt Park for a fun, optional game of tag and a chance to stretch our legs!
4. Our final destination is Southshore Beach to watch the sunset and enjoy the lakeside view.
Costumes are highly encouraged! Decorate yourself and your bike for a chance to win spooky bragging rights.
Please Come Prepared With:
· A well-functioning bike and a helmet (safety is stylish!).
· Front and rear bike lights – it will get dark!
· Water to stay hydrated.
· A respectful and friendly attitude.
