HALLOWEEN/B-DAY Team Jigsaw Puzzle Contest at BlackStack w/COSTUME CONTEST

Celebrate Halloween AND Sarah's 30th Birthday with this special edition contest! In addition to our normal puzzle contest, registered teams will also be able to participate in a Halloween costume contest. We will also have some sweet treats for you to enjoy! Come dressed up in your best Halloween costume and enter to win a year of Sarah Does Puzzles contests!*

Build a team of up to 4 people and see how quickly you can complete a 500 piece puzzle. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams. There will also be door prizes. All teams get to keep their competition puzzle.

HOW DOES IT WORK:

Each team will receive the same puzzle concealed in a bag. No one will see the puzzle before the timer starts. After a countdown, teams will open their boxes and start puzzling. A competition judge will monitor teams and record finishing times. Once you have completed your puzzle, you may leave, or stay and work on another puzzle and enjoy a drink or two!

RULES:

• You may eat and drink while competing
• You may use box top holders and sorting trays
• You are allowed to bring extra lighting as long as it does not need to be plugged in to an outlet and does not interfere with the lighting for other competitors. These are great lights to use: https://amzn.to/3IAWd7S
• You are not allowed to distract or interfere with other teams

DETAILS:

6-7pm: Optional casual puzzling happy hour. Grab a drink and warm up for the main event! Practice puzzles will be provided.

7-9pm: Speed puzzling contest starts - It's your time to shine!

Tables are regular height and are a mixture of shared and single team tables.

$50 per team

There are no refunds, but if you are not able to make the event, we can arrange pick-up for your contest puzzle.

*Costume contest winners will be determined by our Sarah Does Puzzles judges. One team will win a year of Sarah Does Puzzles contests to be announced at the event. The registered team captain will get a code that will give them $40 off an order 12 times. Code can be used towards any upcoming competition. Costume contest is free to enter, but teams must be registered for the puzzle contest on October 27th to be able to participate.
