Es ist Zeit, Halloween und den Día de los Muertos zu feiern – mit einer ganz besonderen Kinder Rave Edition in Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Freunden von ARTivisten e.V. und MaMis en Movimiento.

Schlüpft in eure Halloween-Kostüme und ab auf die Tanzfläche! Euch erwarten House-, Disco- und Italo Disco-Beats, aufgelegt von Berlins besten Eltern-DJs.

Neben allem, was ihr von der Kinder Rave kennt, gibt’s diesmal auch Día de los Muertos-Deko und einen speziellen Kunst-Workshop vor dem Event. Hier könnt ihr gemeinsam Alebrijes basteln – die bunten, schützenden Geister der mexikanischen Kultur, traditionell aus Pappmaché, die die Seelen der Verstorbenen auf ihrer Reise begleiten.

Der Alebrije-Workshop startet um 12:00 Uhr, bevor die Kinder Rave wie gewohnt um 14:00 Uhr losgeht.

WICHTIG: Da der Workshop nur begrenzte Plätze hat, sichert euch bitte im Voraus Tickets für den Workshop und die Kinder Rave.

Wie gewohnt gibt’s während der Kinder Rave auch Kinderschminken und jede Menge Aktivitäten neben der Musik.

Logistik

Der Baergarten ist eine Indoor/Outdoor-Location. Die Musik und Hauptaktivitäten finden drinnen statt, aber wenn das Wetter mitspielt, wird auch der Außenbereich zugänglich sein.

Der Zeitplan für den Nachmittag sieht wie folgt aus:

*12-14 Uhr: Alebrijes-Workshop

*14-18 Uhr: Kinder Rave

Wichtiger Hinweis: Um unsere Performer und das Team zu unterstützen, bitten wir alle Familien der Kinder Rave um eine freiwillige Spende von 10 € pro Familie. Teilnehmende am Alebrijes-Workshop bitten wir um eine zusätzliche Spende von 10 € pro Teilnehmer, um die Workshop-Leiter von MaMis en Movimiento zu unterstützen.

Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten zu spenden:

*Vorab bei der Ticketbestätigung über Eventbrite

*Oder direkt vor Ort per Barzahlung oder Kartenzahlung

Ein Teil jeder Spende geht an unsere Eventpartner ARTivisten e.V. (mehr Infos weiter unten).

Die kreativen Beiträge unserer DJs, Kids-Activity-Leiter, Workshop-Facilitators und des gesamten Organisationsteams sind nur mit eurer Unterstützung möglich.

Let's get spooky! It's time to celebrate Halloween and the Día de los Muertos with an extra special Kinder Rave in collaboration with our friends at ARTivisten e.V. and MaMis en Movimiento.

Put on your Halloween costumes and join us in hitting the dance floor, accompanied by lively House, Disco and Italo Disco beats curated as always by some of Berlin's finest parent DJs.

In addition to everything you've come to expect from the Kinder Rave, this event will also feature special Día de los Muertos-themed decorations as well as a special pre-event art workshop where participants will work together to create Alebrijes – the colorful protective spirits of Mexican culture, which are traditionally made of papier-mâché and accompany the souls of the deceased on their journey.

The Alebrije-making workshop will start before the Kinder Rave at 12:00. The Kinder Rave will begin at its usual time of 14:00.

IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of the activity, space for the Alebrijes workshop is limited. To confirm your/your child's place in the workshop, please reserve tickets for both the workshop as well as the Kinder Rave.

As usual, during the Kinder Rave we'll also have face painting and kids activities along with music and plenty of room to hang out.

Logistics

The Baergarten is an indoor/outdoor venue. The music and main activities will be in the inside space, but if the weather is nice the outside part will also be available.

The schedule of the afternoon will be as follows:

*12-14h: Alebrijes workshop

*14-18h: Kinder Rave

Please note: to fairly compensate our performers and support the work of our organizers, we request that all attendees to the Kinder Rave make a voluntary donation of €10 per family. Attendees to the Alebrijes workshop are requested to make an additional donation of €10 per participant to support workshop leaders MaMis en Movimiento.

There are two ways to donate:

*In advance when you confirm your place via Eventbrite

*For those who do not reserve a ticket in advance, we will also have a cash box/card reader at the door

A portion of every donation will be shared with our event partners ARTivisten e.V (more information below).
