Halifax Hootenanny 2025

Come on out to The Mayflower Curling Club in Norht End Halifax for some Cape Breton square sets with Rachel Davis on Fiddle, Jason Roach on Keys and Mary Beth Carty on guitar and calling. We also got the North Ends favourite old time string band The Big Country Ramblers playing old time, country & more.

They are tearing down the Mayflower this spring so let's tear it up one more time.

No experience neccesary to square dance and all are welcome.

Big Country are no strangers to the Norht End, having cut their teeth at Gus's Pub back in the day, then moving over to SourWood/Ramblers for a weekly jam. Old time, Blue Grass , Country and general good vibes is what ya get with this crew.
