🎶 About the Artists
Halfway Home is the Edmonton-based duo of Amanda Penner and Zackery Wilson Elliott, whose music explores the concept of home — what it means to belong, to wander, and to find your place in the world. Drawing inspiration from Watchhouse, The Milk Carton Kids, and Gregory Alan Isakov, their lush harmonies and acoustic storytelling create an atmosphere both heartfelt and timeless.

In their first year as a duo, Halfway Home toured across Alberta and British Columbia, quickly gaining recognition in the western Canadian festival circuit. They’ve performed at Nextfest (2025), Peace Valley Folk Fest (2025), and the Edmonton Folk Festival (2025) — where they earned runner-up for Best Emerging Artist.

With years of solo careers behind them and a seamless musical chemistry, Amanda and Zackery’s performances are known to leave audiences humming along, swaying gently, and fully immersed in their sonic world.
