Explore Key Biscayne's Half Moon Shipwreck on this 2 hour snorkel cruise!
Only a 10-minute ride from Crandon Marina aboard our 45' Parks Catamaran, the Half Moon Wreck is a 47-foot steel yacht that sank off the coast of Key Biscayne in 1930. The wreck lies in very shallow water, only 8 feet at low tide, making it ideal for underwater photography and snorkeling! Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Half Moon serves as an artificial reef attracting an array of marine life including stingrays, nurse sharks, mollusks, lobsters, and a colorful host of fish and lobsters.
This program is suitable for ages 9 and up. Participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult and must be able to swim. Water safety and rescue-trained staff will be leading the program and will be present on the water with participants as well as topside on the boat. A safety briefing will be given on the boat before entering the water and a first aid kit is kept on board at all times.
