Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to share any personal information?

We do not require you to share any personal information, or disclose your name to the other attendees. This workshop is educational, and all activities will be completed between you and your partner.

Do I need to bring my partner, or can I come on my own?

This workshop is designed to be completed with your partner, as many of our activities require both of you to participate together. Stay tuned for future workshops geared toward individuals!

Do I need to be in therapy to attend?

No! Many couples who attend our workshops have never been to therapy, or are considering going to therapy. It is a great way to test what it would be like to try couples therapy, and often couples do go on to start couples therapy, but it is not necessary. The Seven Principles workshop is a great way to learn and grow with your partner in a half-day setting facilitated by licensed therapists.

Is this workshop a replacement for couples therapy?

This workshop is psycho-educational, and is not therapy. However, for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship, build better communication skills, and foster more understanding in their relationships, or who don't have the time to commit to regular therapy sessions, this workshop can be a great alternative to therapy. Our facilitators will not be working on specific, individual issues; rather they will be providing the tools for you and your partner to co-create a successful relationships.
