About Halestorm:
What started as a childhood dream of siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale, Halestorm has become one of the most celebrated rock bands of the last two decades. Halestorm has scored seven number ones at rock radio, and their music has surpassed a billion streams worldwide. They have received two GRAMMY nominations and took home the award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for “Love Bites (So Do I)” in 2012, which Rolling Stone called a “muscular, adventurous, and especially rele-vant rock record.”
Fronted by the incomparable Lzzy Hale (an outspoken advocate of women's rights and Gibson Gui-tar's first female brand ambassador), along with drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, and bass player Josh Smith, Halestorm has earned a reputation for their dominating live performances at countless sold-out shows, the top of festival bills, and sharing the stage with rock icons like Heaven & Hell, Alice Cooper, and Joan Jett.
About Lindsey Stirling:
Few artists embody boundless creativity like Lindsey Stirling. A multi-award-winning electronic vio-linist and electrifying performer, she seamlessly blends virtuosic musicianship with high-energy cho-reography, selling out iconic venues worldwide. In the fall of 2025, Lindsey will take her live show in a bold new direction, infusing it with electrifying rock elements and an edgier, high-intensity perfor-mance style. She’ll bring this amplified energy to the stage on a co-headlining tour with Halestorm, merging her signature sound with the raw power of rock.
Following the release of Duality, her most sonically adventurous album yet, Stirling continues to push artistic boundaries, crafting a dynamic fusion of cinematic melodies and hard-hitting produc-tion. Known for her theatrical stage presence, she remains one of the most innovative touring artists today, delivering an immersive experience that defies genre limits and captivates audiences world-wide.
About Apocalyptica:
In the history of heavy metal, few bands have reshaped the genre quite like Apocalyptica—and even fewer can say they've done it twice. What began as an unlikely experiment by four classically trained cellists from Helsinki’s Sibelius Academy turned into one of metal’s most enduring and innovative success stories. From their 1996 debut Plays Metallica by Four Cellos, Apocalyptica captured lightning in a bottle—reimagining Metallica’s thunderous anthems with nothing but cellos, raw passion, and a deep reverence for their musical heroes.
At first, the idea seemed almost absurd. “Who listens to this shit on record?” laughs founding mem-ber Eicca Toppinen. But it struck a nerve. Within months, they were opening for Metallica them-selves—just the beginning of a journey that would span eight albums, millions of records sold, and a global touring legacy. Over time, Apocalyptica evolved beyond tribute, carving out their own voice in heavy music through original compositions and high-profile collaborations with artists like Ville Va-lo, Corey Taylor, and Dave Lombardo.
But through all their reinvention, the thread tying Apocalyptica’s story together remained their bond with Metallica. That relationship reached a new high with the creation of Plays Metallica Vol. 2, a pro-ject born from the overwhelming response to the 25th anniversary tour of their debut. With longtime producer Joe Barresi at the helm, the band dove back into Metallica’s catalogue—not just reinterpret-ing the classics, but uncovering fresh emotional and cinematic dimensions in deep cuts and fan favor-ites alike.
What makes Vol. 2 historic is not just its musicality, but the involvement of Metallica themselves. Bassist Rob Trujillo joins for a blistering take on “The Four Horsemen,” while James Hetfield lends his voice in a haunting spoken-word performance of “One,” transforming the track into a moving, cin-ematic experience. “It had to be epic,” says Perttu Kivilaakso. “I was in my home crying. My hands were shaking. It was an incredible journey.”
With this new chapter, Apocalyptica brings their story full circle. Plays Metallica Vol. 2 isn’t just a tribute—it’s a celebration of legacy, creativity, and the enduring bond between two generations of metal icons.
