IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: our studio is on the top floor and is not accessible for people with disabilities, as there is no step free access. Booking is at your own responsibility, so please read this carefully.
Welcome to the paint and sip experience at The Art Studio by The Girly Scene, Headingley's creative venue for women, friends and groups of all kinds. No talent needed. Just show up, settle in, and let one of our local artists guide you through a canvas painting from scratch. You leave with a piece you made yourself.
This session runs every Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm. Want a different date or time? You can book other dates by emailing us at [email protected] and we will arrange it for you.
What's included in your ticket: a guided paint and sip session, all art materials provided, your completed artwork to take home, one tea, coffee or hot chocolate included, and a playlist to paint along to. Festive mocktails are £5pp, and you are welcome to bring your own welcome drink.
Halal friendly: no alcohol is served at any of our sessions, and any treats come from halal-certified suppliers.
Caffeine Addict, our in-house cafe: arrive early and head to Caffeine Addict on the ground floor for freshly brewed coffee, teas, cold drinks and food, all non-alcoholic. Cafe purchases are separate.
The Matcha Bar by The Girly Scene, available on request: ask when you book about our Matcha Bar menu, including Biscoff Matcha, Banana Pudding Matcha, Matcha Tiramisu and rotating seasonal specials. Pre-order by emailing [email protected] with your exact drink.
Age policy: 16 and over welcome to attend independently. Ages 13 to 15 welcome with a parent or responsible adult. Under 13 welcome for private group bookings, contact us to arrange the right session.
Good to know: please arrive 10 minutes before your session. Wear something you don't mind getting a little painty. Bring a bag to carry your canvas home. Refunds are available automatically up to 7 days before your session. After that, tickets are non-refundable but transferable.

How to find us: the studio is above the Caffeine Addict cafe. Enter through the Caffeine Addict cafe entrance and head to the back of the cafe where the WC is, then follow the signs for the art studio. It is up the staircase on the top floor. The Art Studio by The Girly Scene, 25-27 Otley Road, Headingley, Leeds LS6 3AA. Easy bus links from Leeds city centre, with street parking nearby.
