Welcome to a special opportunity - to learn the art of HAKA
from a Maori elder, and perform ‘Te Haka ki te whenua a Tiamana’ : a Haka to the land of Germany.
Afterwards we will celebrate with an open-air community Dance (with Naftali)

Te Arahi -- is a Maori sage from the Nga Puhi tribe of Aotearoa New Zealand. He is one who listens to the voice of the land and feels the energy of the people. While in Tiamana (Maori word for Germany) he is called to provide a healing to the land of Tiamana by her sister papatuanuku (the New Zealand earth mother). The delivery of this transmitted healing is to be through the ancient Maori art of Haka.
We invite you - the community - to join us for this experiential ceremony where Te Arahi will teach you the physical words and actions of the Haka, following which, we will collectively channel our heartfelt empowered selves to deliver a Haka to the land.
