Hair Suspension Workshop
The workshop is focused on providing hair suspension styling methods and basic technique principles, to enhance concentration, relaxation and physical support necessary for practice. We will begin with properly preparing the hairstyle and the body to ensure both fun and safety. During warm-up we will focus on exercises benefiting the neck and the back, to avoid injuries. In addition we will work in pairs, suspend ourselves in the air while at the same time focusing our attention on the transfer of weight, body in suspension and entering and exiting our axis. We will investigate orbital and axis rotations, various shapes and improvisation.
Levels: beginner and intermediate.
Language: the seminar will be conducted in English/Spanish (* το σεμινάριο θα διεξαχθεί στα Αγγλικά/Ισπανικά)
Prerequisite: Hair Length shoulder and down/ Απαραίτητη προϋπόθεση: Μήκος μαλλιών από τον ώμο και κάτω
Necessary tools (provided by the participants)*: Ring or carabiner (ring is optimal). Οι συμμετέχοντες θα πρέπει να φέρουν στο σεμινάριο το δικό τους κρίκο ή καραμπίνερ (ιδανικά το πρώτο).

Short bios of the trainers
PAZ NANTES
Circus artist and aerial acrobatics teacher. She has spent more than half of her life investigating movement both on the ground and in the air. Ten years of teaching in different parts of the world allowed her to develop her own pedagogical method inspired by her diverse students. Her methods apply to students of all levels. She is a regular teacher at the Centro Kultural Trivenchi in Buenos Aires and travels to teach around the world (Uruguay, Chile, Spain, Germany and several cities in Argentina). Paz is also a member of the independent circus company La Margen.
PRITTA RAJOY
Circus artist. For the last ten years she kept investigating technique and performance methods as well as her own approach on the discipline. She teaches classes and workshops in Argentina and around the world. Pritta participates in the organization of the Argentine National Rope Meeting and is a member of the Centro Kultural Trivenchi cooperative. She creates and directs her own circus school "Con los pies en el Aire" in Buenos Aires. She is currently a member of the German circus company "The Roses".
