Hair and Ribbon Braiding Workshop with El Sueño

Join us on Sunday, February 1st for a hands on braiding workshop!

This class explores braiding as a living expression of identity.

In it, we'll go over how to create three strand braids, how to incorporate ribbon into the braids, and the cultural lineage behind the style.

Participants are invited to honor lineage and explore their own connections through the beauty and symbolism of hair.

This class is perfect as an intergenerational workshop or stand alone for those interested in connecting and learning about this cultural and sacred hairstyle.

This class is open to both hair industry professionals and the public. Supplies and snacks will be provided.

If you are a hair industry professional and have a mannequin and tripod you'd like to use, it is recommended but not required.

Ticket sales go towards supporting the educator, supplies, and venue's future events.
