HAGGIS X-1
Haggis X-1 is a high-energy Celtic rock band built around veteran members of acclaimed Canadian group Enter the Haggis. Over a 30-year career, Enter the Haggis toured extensively across North America, performing on national television programs including Regis and Kelly, A&E, PBS, and at prestigious stages such as the Kennedy Center for the Arts. Their songs “One Last Drink” and “Down With The Ship” have become modern Celtic pub anthems, keeping audiences raising a pint and singing along wherever they’re played.
For any wheelchair or ADA needs, please contact the Box Office in advance of the performance at (202)-787-1000.
All tickets are general admission (GA). Seats cannot be reserved in advance. We recommend that you arrive early to secure your favorite seats within your section. You may hold one (1) seat for a friend arriving later. Every guest requires a ticket.
The 19th Street Band
Loved for their strong vocal harmonies and driving rhythms, The 19th Street Band delivers high-energy Americana, hillbilly, gypsy-rockin’ good time music that drives audiences mad. The band comprises Caolaidhe, pronounced “Cally”, Davis (guitar/harmonica/vocalist) who hails from Holywood, Northern Ireland alongside fiddle/mandolin/vocalist/partner-in-crime Meghan Davis, and their rockin’ rhythm section Christopher Brown (bass) & Patty Dougherty (drums). Their songs touch the heartstrings, lift the spirits and remind us that life is just a beautiful mess.
Elevating the four-piece on stage will be their very own horn section, The Back Alley Horns, featuring Zack Smith (trumpet), Trevor Specht (saxophone) & Big Daddy Dan Haverstock (trombone).
The 19th Street Band has entertained crowds at US festivals such as DelFest, Charm City Bluegrass Festival, National Cherry Blossom Festival, The Washington Folk Festival, Iowa Irish Festival, and Maryland Irish Festival. Overseas, they have been featured as a regular artist at the Open House Festival in Bangor, Northern Ireland and the Dunmore East Bluegrass Festival in Co. Waterford and will be showcasing at Your Roots Are Showing Folk Conference in Belfast in January. The band tours Ireland/UK every year and brings 40+ American fans along for the ride.
