Removal of invasive exotic (non-native) plants, much of it English ivy, from the ground and tree trunks. Why? Invasive plants outcompete native plants, and native plants provide food, protection, and places to live and reproduce for native birds, insects, and mammals.
Nearest parking: Brookside Rd. Meet at "Forest Hill Historic District" sign. We move to the work site at 9:00.
What to bring: Work gloves (if possible). No open-toed footwear. Water
