Habitat for Humanity ReStore (North) - 11/13/21

Join Columbus Gives Back as we make a trip to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Westerville. This is an indoor opportunity, where your valuable time will be used to help sort, organize, and display building materials, furniture, and household fixtures donated to ReStore. These items are then sold to the public - proceeds from the sales help offset administrative expenses for Habitat for Humanity.

There will be ample parking in a big lot in front of the store. When you arrive, head on in to the front desk. We'll get nametags, complete volunteer waivers (though please complete them ahead of time if you can - because, COVID), and learn about the Restore's operations. Come dressed in comfortable work clothes and close toed shoes.

COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events.

About Habitat Restore: The Habitat ReStore plays an important role in the effort to eliminate substandard housing. Donated items from the community are sold and the proceeds offset most of Habitat MidOhio's administrative costs, so cash contributions go directly toward building homes for deserving families.

#SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local! As of May 1st, outdoor/patio social twists will be coordinated at the discretion of event leaders and volunteers.
