Habitat Advocate: Qigong - Mindful Movement for Gardeners
Schedule
Thu Apr 16 2026 at 06:00 pm to 08:00 pm
UTC-04:00Location
102 Chester St | Lancaster, PA
About this Event
Whether you are seeking gentle warm-ups to prevent injury or meditative motions to connect to the spaces you steward, Qigong offers a way to easefully warm, transform, and activate energy in your body.
Participants will explore the philosophy of Qigong, a practice developed in China thousands of years ago, and practice mindful movement forms in a group setting as insight for later personal practice. Please wear comfortable clothing for gentle movement.
The Lancaster Conservancy has protected over 11,000 acres of natural lands, which are critically important to supporting biodiversity. Smaller patches of native habitats spread throughout urban landscapes are also essential to creating corridors of habitat – food and refuge – for wildlife. This is why we are offering our Habitat Advocate classes at Tec Centro in Lancaster City.
The cost of the Habitat Advocate classes covers instructor fees. If the cost of this class is prohibitive, please reach out to Keith Williams, VP of Engagement and Education, at [email protected].
