The release of their EP 'You Are Not A Stranger Here' (2020) and subsequent shows, saw the band become known for their evocative and atmospheric performances, leading them to sign with Dirty Carrot Records.
Their album 'The Great Swells That Carry Us Will Pull Us Under' (2023) was mixed and mastered by renowned producer Charlie Francis (REM, Future of the Left, Turin Brakes) and has received critical acclaim.
Their second full-length, recorded at Northhouse Studios in Llanhilleth, is due to be released late 2026.
Solars are a 4 piece instrumental, Post-Rock/Post-Metal band from Birmingham, UK. Having supported fellow post-rock bands such as Din of Celestial Birds, Nordic Giants, Poly-Math, Overhead the Albatross, Midas Fall, Vlmv and many others, Solars are looking to take their fine blend of soaring post-rock melodies over crushing post-metal riffs around the UK.
