HA Wiregrass I Want To Work In A Lab Coat Camp, July 20-24, 2026 (AM)

Have you ever wondered what working in a biotechnology laboratory would be like? Spend a week investigating the tools, techniques, and science behind modern biotech careers. Tour high-tech lab spaces and get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Alabama’s fastest-growing career fields. Young researchers will perform student-driven experiments and maintain a lab notebook of their discoveries.

Eligibility and Tuition:

• Eligible to rising 6th-9th graders
• Must have taken, or be currently enrolled in, a Code of Life Camp.
• $150 tuition is due in full upon registration. Tuition also includes a daily snack and a lab coat.

Refund Policy:

• Full refund (minus any processing fees) - up to thirty (30) days prior to the program start date
• Half refund - up to fourteen (14) days prior to the program start date
• No refund – less than fourteen (14) days prior to the program start date

Prior to registering, please review our Lab Safety Contract, Waiver, Release/Emergency Contact and Media Release forms. All forms must be signed during checkout in order for students to attend.
