Gözde Berberoğlu is a Berlin-based singer-songwriter blending Turkish musical heritage with contemporary sounds. Her genre-fluid music moves between folk, jazz, and blues, rooted mainly in Turkish lyrics.
Her songs are intimate and story-driven - a musical patchwork quilt: warm, colorful, and stitched together with stories.
What to expect?
For this special evening at Velvet Room, Gözde will perform as a trio with Hüseyin Yurtseven (bass) and Onur Özen (drums). Together, they create a soft yet dynamic, listening-focused atmosphere.
Alongside original songs, the audience can also expect reinterpretations of Turkish classics from the 70s and 90s - bringing a nostalgic and soulful touch to the night.
