Aussie rock dynamo Gyroscope return to the airwaves with their explosive new single ‘My Broken Spine’—the band’s first new music since 2019. It’s quintessential Gyroscope: a massive wall of guitars, thunderous energy, and the unmistakable roar of frontman Dan Sanders. The track also marks the recorded debut of new drummer Sim Dreja, injecting fresh fire into the band’s iconic sound.Since forming in 1997, Gyroscope have cemented themselves as a cornerstone of Australian rock, with four acclaimed albums under their belt. Their third LP, Breed Obsession, debuted at #1 on the ARIA Charts, achieved Gold certification, and earned an ARIA nomination for Best Rock Album. Fan favourites including‘Snakeskin’, ‘Baby, I’m Gettin’Better’, ‘Fast Girl’, and ‘Doctor Doctor’have all left their mark in the triple J Hottest 100.
Famed for their ferocious live shows, Gyroscope have torn up stages at The Big Day Out, Groovin’ The Moo, and shared stages with Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182, Oasis, Foo Fighters and Cold Chisel,to name a few. Most recently, the band hit the road with long-time mates Bodyjar in 2023, delivering a run of sold-out, high-octane shows.
