UK-based Aussie slide guitar maestro Gwyn Ashton comes slamming back home downunder for a series of concerts to promote his latest full band album Grease Bucket.Joining Ashton will be Adelaide musicians bassist Brenton Firth and drummer "Disco" Dave Hammond.
He's also released a rock single titled "Get Outta Town", collaborating with guest guitarist Richard Fortus from Guns N Roses.
The former lead guitarist for Stevie Wright, Swanee and Band of Friends (Rory Gallagher's band) Ashton has previously recorded with members of Icehouse, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Robert Plant's and Gallagher's bands and many more.
Ashton has toured with the likes of Status Quo, The Yardbirds, Johnny Winter, Peter Green, Mick Taylor, Slade, The Sweet and performed festivals with BB King, Rory Gallagher, Buddy Guy and countless other big names in rock and blues.
