(THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC DAY NO TRAIN RIDES WILL BE AVAILABLE)After the success of our GWR Day last year we though we would hold it again!
We invite all GWR Fanatics from across the country to bring their Great Western Region Locomotives for a run on our Raised & Ground Level tracks!
All Gauges from 2.5" to 71/4" are Allowed with our 2.5", 3.5" & 5" Raised Level Track and 5" & 71/4" Ground Level Track! and with our site being built on the old Dringhouses Yard you will be able to watch the 561/4" East Coast Main Line at work while you run!
If you are coming to run on the day please make sure you have Boiler Certificates & insurance documents from your club with you, You are allowed to also bring some rolling stock if you so wish, if you don't have space to bring a riding car with you or don't own one we have some spare on site for both Raised and Ground Level that you can request to use on the day, Club members will be on site from 9am. Food & Drink will be available from the clubhouse as per normal running days!
