About this Event
Gweithdy Dweud Straeon: rhan o brosiect Thomas Parry a’r Eli Gwyrdd
Ymunwch â Steve Niner, derwydd sydd wedi plannu gardd goedwig permaculture yng Nghae Mariad, storïwraig Claire Mace, a'r ymarferydd celfyddydau cymunedol Angharad Owen, am weithdy hwn yn dysgu sut i adrodd straeon.
Mae'r digwyddiad hwn yn rhan o brosiect wedi'i ysbrydoli gan fywyd a gwaith Thomas Parry, perlysieuydd, chwarelwr ac awdur o'r 19eg Ganrif. 'Does fawr neb yn gwybod am ei lyfr Llysieuaeth Feddygol, cyfrol denau o 112 tudalen yn cynnwys 300 o blanhigion, efo llawer ohonyn nhw'n dal i dyfu yn yr ardal lle roedd o’n yn byw, wrth ymyl y Gors yn Nhregarth.
Trwy gyfuniad o ymarferion syml o wrando ac adrodd straeon, byddwn ni’n chwarae efo ffyrdd i rannu straeon y planhigion, y tir a'r hynafiaid, yn tynnu ysbrydoliaeth o hanes neu natur.
Mae'r gweithdy hwn ar agor i unrhyw un sydd â diddordeb mewn meddyginiaeth llysieuol, cysylltiad â natur, neu'r grefft o adrodd straeon : nid oes angen profiad blaenorol.
Dewch â 'chydig o ginio i'w rannu a phen a phapur. a rhyw fath o sedd fel cadair wersylla neu flanced.
Hwyluso yn ddwyieithog efo Claire Mace, Steve Niner, Angharad Owen. Croeso i blant dros 10 oed i ddod efo oedolyn.

Storytelling Workshop: part of the Thomas Parry and the Green Ointment project.
Join Steve Niner, druid and creator of the permaculture forest garden at Cae Mariad, storyteller Claire Mace, and community arts practioner Angharad Owen, for this day exploring how to tell stories.
This workshop is part of a project inspired by the life and work of Thomas Parry, 19th Century herbalist, quarry worker and author. Few people have heard of his book, Llysieuaeth Feddygol, a slim volume of 112 pages containing over 300 plants, many of which still grow in the area he lived, near the Gors in Tregarth.
Through a combination of deep listening and storytelling exercises we will explore ways of sharing the stories of the plants, the land and the ancestors, whether we are drawing inspiration from history or from nature.
This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in herbal medicine, nature connection, or the craft of storytelling, no prior experience required.
Bring some lunch to share and a pen and paper, and something to sit on like a camping chair or blanket.
Bilingual facilitation with Claire Mace, Steve Niner, Angharad Owen. Children over 10 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
