Ond sut oedd pobl y 19eg Ganrif wedi gwneud eu meddyginiaeth eu hunain o blanhigion?

Making Medicine Workshop: part of the Thomas Parry and the Green Ointment Project -
@ 2.00 pm
Join medical herbalist Dafydd Monks and learn to make simple balms and ointments from local plants, inspired by Thomas Parry, 19th Century herbalist, quarry worker and author.
Few people have heard of Thomas Parry’s book, Llysieuaeth Feddygol, a slim volume of 112 pages containing over 300 plants, many of which still grow in the area he lived, near the Gors in Tregarth.
So how would people of the 19th Century have made their own medicine from plants?
Dafydd Monks is a medical herbalist who gained a BSc in the subject from the University of Lincoln in 2014. He is from the Nantlle valley and is the author of The 12 Herbs of Christmas and The Tincture-Maker's Cheat Sheet. He works one-to-one with patients at LEAF clinic in Menai Bridge and Llandudno, and is an expert grower and maker of herbal medicines.
