THE GUTTERCLOWN CABARET : An Evening of Blissful AbsurdityVancouver’s most lively and action packed underground comedy night returns! Part comedy show, part fever dream — The GutterClown Cabaret is the beating heart of the modern clown movemen on this side of the border. Thank Glob we don't ahve to go to LA for this wild collision of clown, bouffon, solo sketch, comedy-burlesque, stand-up, musical comedy, and whatever else emerges from the grab bag of abstraction and derranged silliness.

Okay.. But what is GutterClown?
Not Stephen King’s IT, or that Horror Clown stuff (we don’t discriminate). GutterClown is an adult-only style of clown-theatre that intends to provoke, explore, and release shadow while playing at the ridiculousness of life. Think European-range-of-emotion clown rather than Ringling Brothers and balloons.
This is the new wave of clown: raw, rebellious, and deeply human.
