Led by Ingrid Zimmer, Executive Director of Dumbarton Arts & Education, and Jessica Phillips-Silver, PhD, RYT, Music Neuroscience Scholar, Consultant, and Artistic Creator.Using Music and Movement to explore our Emotions and the Brain-Gut Connection is an interactive workshop exploring the brain–gut connection and its role in emotional processing. Blending neuroscience with music and movement inspired by Isadora Duncan’s choreography, participants engage in guided movement experiences to explore fear, anger, joy, and calm. The workshop offers embodied tools for cultivating emotional awareness, regulation, and resilience through sound and movement.
