In this immersive class, you’ll explore Klimt’s unique style and techniques while creating your own mixed media artwork. Working with paint, pattern, texture, and metal leaf, you’ll learn how to bring depth, brilliance, and elegance to your piece—all while putting your own creative spin on his iconic aesthetic.

✨ All supplies are provided, and the small group size ensures plenty of one-on-one guidance. The class takes place in the inspiring arts hub cSPACE Marda Loop in SW Calgary.

During this workshop, participants will:

• ✨ Work with Metal Leaf – Explore methods for applying and integrating shimmering gold (and other metallic) leaf into your artwork.
• 🌟 Design with Pattern & Symbolism – Use shapes, motifs, and personal symbols to echo Klimt’s decorative approach while expressing your own vision.
• 🖼 Create a Finished Artwork – Complete a striking mixed media piece ready to display or gift.
