Get ready for an intense live experience! Gurriers, formed during the pandemic, quickly made a name for themselves with their raw, mosh ready shows and sharp, socially conscious songwriting. After their critically acclaimed debut album, they return with their second album Nobody’s Coming To Save You, this time on a larger scale.
The new album, produced by Mark Bowen (Idles) and Loren Humphrey (Geese, Cameron Winter), takes the band’s signature sound to the next level. It combines driving rhythms, cutting guitars, and powerful vocals while remaining both refined and intense. Each track builds tension and grabs you by the throat, with lyrics that are honest, personal, and socially engaged.
Nobody’s Coming To Save You is about frustration, determination, and taking matters into your own hands. As the band themselves say: “If you look at it more deeply, it’s a call to action, no one is going to rise up if everyone expects someone else to do it. We all have to do our part in creating the change.” This conviction runs throughout the album, which is full of raw power, slow-burning intensity, and explosive passages, blending punk, post-hardcore, and more complex song structures.
Gurriers take the energy of a smoky underground club and transforms it into a stadium-sized experience. It’s raw, intense, and dynamic, leaving the audience completely overwhelmed.
