Gun Violence Memorial Project Object Collection in Boston (Day 1+2)

The Gun Violence Memorial Project seeks to create a permanent, national memorial that honors the lives and narratives of victims of gun violence. We are very excited to announce that the memorial will be opening at 3 locations throughout Boston at the end of August: at the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Boston City Hall, and the gallery space at the MASS Design Group office. Ahead of this opening, we are planning a Remembrance Object Collection event.

If you have lost an immediate family member to gun violence, we invite you to participate in this memorial by contributing a Remembrance Object in memory of your loved one. By sharing a Remembrance Object that honors someone you love, together we can highlight the human toll of gun violence and inspire visitors to connect with the individual stories. Remembrance Objects can be anything that tell a story of your loved one. Please select an object that is no larger than 9” L x 4.5” W x 3” H.
