Gun Violence in the Media: A Community Panel


Join the UMB Center for Violence Prevention and Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle for a community discussion on racialized depictions of gun violence in the media and findings from our recent joint report. Panelists include Dr. Nadine Finigan-Carr from the UMB Center for Violence Prevention, and Lawrence Grandpre from Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle. The panel will take place on Tuesday, June 30, from 4-6 pm in the Gladhill Boardroom at the HSHSL Library at 601 W. Lombard St. on the UMB Campus. For questions, please contact [email protected]
