Gun Ghaol - With Support From Tide 7 & Evoke
About this Event
Gun Ghaol is the world's only Gaelic metalcore band, with every song & lyric in the language of Scottish Gaelic.
Founded originally as a social media project by vocalist Cailean Stone, the band’s first show across the Irish Sea was in Gweedore last September, tearing up the stage at Dorn San Aer. This March, they’ll return to mosh with their Celtic brothers & sisters for their first headline shows alongside Tide7 and Evoke.
In 2026, the Glasgow-based five-piece released 'Gun Alba' the first-ever World Cup song in Gaelic, as well as 'Dorchadas', the first metalcore song in Gaelic & Irish.
Gun Ghaol's upcoming winter tour dates in Edinburgh and Inverness have already sold out, so ceannaich tiocaid as a bhad, a chàirdean!
“Metalcore breakdowns with the energy of a hardcore show” – BBC Introducing
“Creating energetic, rage-filled, wall-of-noise head bangers” – The Scotsman
“The Gaelic might be what grabs attention initially, but it’s the quality of their sound that will keep people coming back" – GBHBL
The tour will be in support of Gun Ghaol’s sophomore album ‘Eadar Bàs is Bruadaran’, which comes out on February 12th 2027.
