Gullywasher started in Kansas City in 2017 by guitarist singer songwriter Chris Hudson, banjo player vocalist Sam Wright & Bassist Matt Cathlina. A “Gullywasher” is a big washing rain which sort of describes this indie folk Americana string band’s sound. Lots of musical exploratory space and something completely different with a very familiar but understated style that crosses many genres boundaries.
