Gullah Geechee Festival Seattle 2024 All White African Diaspora Party

Gullah Geechee Festival of Seattle invites you to join us for traditional Gullah Geechee Blessings, food, music, and dance at the All White African Diaspora Party.

This annual event brings folks with Gullah Geechee roots together with the community to share traditional blessings and food, including gumbo and sweet treats, and to celebrate with a soulful soundtrack and dance performances.

Food and space is limited, therefore we have only 75 FREE tickets available. ALL AGES WELCOME.

Northwest Tap Connection is the sponsor and host for this event, as the Director, Ms. Melba Ayco, is of Gullah Geechee and Creole descent. Ms Melba took over from Ms Vicky and since 2018, Seattle Gullah Geechee Festival events have been held at the studio and she continues to maintain and build connections between the Gullah Geechee community in Seattle across to Hilton Head, SC, to Covington, LA, and beyond.
