With another trip around the sun comes another Guitarnival. A special time of year where Lewis Eady celebrates the guitar and hosts an acoustic performance by a local artist. After covid-19 has left a collective sour taste in our mouths we know that you are ready for some sweet deals and fine guitar-based music in the warm confines of the Lewis Eady showroom. The bunting will be coming out again on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd of July and we’ll cleft those guitar prices in twain to offer you great deals on your new axe. As well as the infamous “Guess How Picks Are in The Pick Jar & Win A Guitar” competition we’ll also be treated by a performance by an up & coming local favourite.For our sixth instalment of Guitarnival we are welcoming to the stage Auckland’s very own Dutch/Kiwi amalgam, Odds and Ends. This soul infused indie rock quartet will be bringing a special unplugged set with them to warm the cockles of our musically starved hearts and showcase their songwriting in a more laid-back form. It’s this songwriting acumen that propelled them into the Official NZ Music Chart, reaching #8 with Picture and #16 with their latest release Something Else.
Odds and Ends pride themselves on their captivating melodies, fantastic harmonic support, high energy delivery and being one of the friendliest bands currently on the circuit. This clearly must be a winning formula, with the band recently selling Galatos and headlining the Tuning Fork! Sheesh, you had better get your tickets fast, cos we don’t have that much space in the showroom.
