We will be digging into the Blues and it's connections to Jazz and other forms of music.
George Lesiw is an accomplished jazz and blues guitarist, educator, and performer with a rich background in both live performance and music education. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, SUNY Purchase, and Sacred Heart University, George has spent decades refining his craft and sharing his expertise with students at Sacred Heart University, Wilton Conservatory of Music, and SUNY Purchase.
As a seasoned performer and clinician, George is passionate about uncovering the musical threads that connect jazz, blues, and other styles. On Friday, February 21st, at 7 PM, he invites you to an engaging and insightful guitar clinic exploring what defines jazz and its deep roots in the blues.
