Guildford Lions Firework Fiesta 2024 Saturday 2nd November, from 5pm
This remains a charitable event and ALL profits will be used to support our local community through our Guildford Lions welfare fund and also the Oakleaf Enterprise who support people with mental health issues.
We are excited to announce that our live music this year will feature “The Hired Guns” a high energy party band playing The Killers, George Ezra, Kings of Leon, Taylor Swift. The band is a supergroup of world-class session musicians who play all over the world for the likes of James Bay, Nile Rodgers, James Morrison, One Direction, Fatboy Slim, Reef, Electric Six and countless others!
We are again creating a Children’s Entertainment area, with kiddies fairground rides, a face painters, famous characters to meet, and an opportunity to buy glow in the dark toys etc.
The stunning finale will be our fireworks display which will again be provided by Pains Fireworks the largest fireworks company in the UK.
We are thrilled our MC will be the brilliant Peter Gordon!
TICKETS
Whilst our expenses have again increased substantially this year we remain determined to keep this event as accessible to all as far as we possibly can.
The adult ticket price will increase from £12 to £12.50 but the booking fee will now be a flat £1 rather than 10% as in previous years.
This means the increase over last year’s price is just 30p.
Accompanied children under 16 will again be FREE
This will be an all ticket event again with NO sales on the night.
Early bird tickets for adults priced at £10 (plus £1 booking fee) will be available via SeeTickets from August 1st until August 31st.

Here is some useful information which we hope will allow to you plan your evening.
Event Timings
1 The park will be open from 5pm
2 Food and drinks will be available from 5pm until 9:15pm
3 Live Music - The Hired Guns will be playing 2 sets. The first set will be at 6pm until 7pm and the second from 7:30pm until 8:30 pm
4 The Free children’s entertainment will feature between 6.00pm and 8.00pm - A walk about and a chance to meet Captain America, Elsa and Kristoff, and 2 walk about LED characters
5 The children's rides and glow sticks etc will be available from 5pm until 9pm
6 the spectacular fireworks display will start at 8:30pm
7 The event will close at 9pm
All children under 16
• must be accompanied by an adult
• will be provided with a wrist band which must be worn at all times whilst on the park
Car Parking
PLEASE NOTE DUE TO A GUILDFORD FLAMES MATCH NO PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GUILDFROD SPECTRUM THIS YEAR
Parking options are
1 One London Square, Cross Lane, GU1 1UN
a. A great option just 5 minutes from the park offering 250 spaces.
b. Entrance from 17:30 until 20:00 BUT PLEASE NOTE this car park closes at 21:45

1. Free parking is available at Guildford College on Stoke Road
a.Please note that there is no direct access to the event from this carpark. The nearest entrance can be found on Nightingale Road.
3. Blue Badge parking is available at Guildford High School on London Road.
Please note:
1. All car parks will close at 21:45
2. There is no direct access to the Event from Guildford College. Please make your way back to Nightingale Road to gain access.
Access to the Park
There are 2 gates into the event
• One within Stoke Park accessed from either the entrance on the Parkway opposite the Spectrum or from London Road
• accessed from Nightingale Road
Blue Badge Access and Pushchair Access
For those with disabilities you should park in the Guildford High School on London Road or Parkway and head into the park via the London Road entrance. Here you will be allowed access to the tarmac pathway on the park If you need pushchair access we suggest you park in the Guildford College car park and use the
Nightingale Road entrance where you will be allowed access to the tarmac pathway on the park.
Please note:
1. to reduce queuing times please have your tickets ready for scanning before you reach the entry gate.
2. If your mobile device has a screen protector, please increase the brightness to max to allow your tickets to be scanned
3. we suggest you downloaded your tickets immediately to your mobile device to avoid any potential issues at the gates
4. security measures will be in place with bag checks on arrival at the gates so please do be patient
