This 2 hour class is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 18 and under.
Meeting up at the top of the stairs going down to the beach, by the showers.
There's free parking around the entire park. And the small parking lot at the far end of the park is free. Only the large parking lot where we will be meeting is paid, or free if you're registered with the county for free beach parking.
Some of the edible and medicinal native plants we will encounter are: spurge nettle, sea grape, nutsedge, coral bean, strangler fig, dune sunflower, red cedar, peppergrass, creeping cucumber, prickly pear, buckthorn, maypop, purslanes, ground cherry, wood sorrel, yaupon holly, live oak, saw palmetto, sabal palmetto, corkeystem passionflower, American beautyberry, bull thistle, horsetail, spanish moss and lichens, red bay, wild coffee, sargassum, beach orach , saltbush, seaside goldenrod, sida, smilax, sea oats, hairy cowpea, grapes, hog plum, spanish needle , Hercules club, and more!
