There’s hardly any city in the world with such a rich history in music as Manchester. Home to iconic bands such as Oasis, Joy Division, The Smiths, Buzzcocks and the famous Madchester scene it is a place every music buff should have visited.
On this guided walking tour we will explore some of the most important sites in central Manchester with links to the city’s musical history. From the venue where a Sex Pistols gig sparked Manchester’s music scene via the concert hall where The Smiths started their careers to Noel Gallaghers former home and the famous Hacienda nightclub – get ready to walk the places where Manchester’s musical history was shaped.
Suitable for teenage and adult learners of German (participants under the age of 17 years need to be accompanied by a paying adult). We will meet outside Albert Hall, 27 Peter St, Manchester M2 5QR on Sat, 6th November at 2pm!
