Geef je vrijmibo betekenis met een bezoek aan de tentoonstelling. Curator Dewi Sofia loopt de tentoonstelling en licht de verschillende kunstwerken en hun makers toe. Aan de expositie doen tien vrouwelijke en queer kunstenaars uit Indonesië en Nederland mee, die elk op hun eigen wijze reflecteren op arbeid(ers) in koloniaal, hedendaags en diasporisch Indonesië.

Vooraf en na afloop kan er gepraat worden onder het genot van een drankje.

Give your Friday afternoon drinks a meaningful twist with a visit to the exhibition It smells of sweat and jasmine. Curator Dewi Sofia will guide you through the exhibition and explain the various artworks and their creators. Ten female and queer artists from Indonesia and the Netherlands are participating in the exhibition, each reflecting in their own way on labour and labourers in colonial, contemporary and diasporic Indonesia.

Before and after the tour, there will be an opportunity to chat over a drink.
