Guided tour through BlueCity

Curious to discover what’s happening today in the former tropical swimming pool Tropicana? Join us for a guided tour through BlueCity and explore some of its hidden places. Visit the BlueCity Lab, the world’s first circularly renovated biolab, and discover what the circular entrepreneurs based at BlueCity are working on.

During this tour, you’ll also hear from one of the entrepreneurs, Friso from MaakInclusief. He’ll tell you about his social circular design agency in Rotterdam, which challenges people with intellectual disabilities at their own level. Even better: after the tour, you can visit the market and take home interior objects and ceramic mugs made by MaakInclusief.

• Duration: one hour
• This tour is an English-language tour. A Dutch-language tour is scheduled in the afternoon.
• As a former tropical swimming pool, the venue has several steps and stairways. Unfortunately, this tour is less suitable for people with limited mobility.
• A tour ticket also gives you access to the rest of the Changez programme, so you don’t need to pay an additional admission fee.

During Changez, there are two tours to choose from. Prefer to explore BlueCity in the afternoon? Join the Dutch-language tour takes place from 12.00 to 13.00.
