Guided tour of Glasgow Museums Resource Centre

This tour, led by Robyn Haggard, Curator of Natural History, covers the history of Glasgow's zoology collections and their relation to the British Empire. Discover more about the animal specimens, why they were collected and how the Empire impacted, and continues to impact, scientific research.

Meet in the entrance foyer of Glasgow Museums Resource Centre. Booking essential.

We will be walking between different store rooms and stairs/a lift. There are lockers for outdoor coats and bags. No café or eating place. Adults only and no dogs, except assistance dogs, please. Disabled access. Limited parking but accessible on public transport: First Bus 10 and 57 stop near the venue.
