Shinrin Yoku is an ancient Japanese wellness practice. Literally translated, it means ‘forest bathing.’ Being in nature is good for our well- being: body, mind, and soul. In this session, learn about the history of this practice, the science behind nature’s healing benefits, and be guided on a nature walk through the DWC's private trails.
Please bring a smart phone and headphones, a walking stick if you need one and a blanket or towel to sit on.
We will meet out in front of the Decatur Wellness Collective, bathrooms and water are available inside. You can leave your purse/keys with the front desk if you would like.
Wear your walking shoes and dress for the weather.
Refunds will be issued if we are rained out.
Drop in or pre-register for $15
