BVCC’s Family Resource Center now offers Guided Playgroups!
Guided Playgroups focus on two crucial elements: child agency (the child directs the learning) and gentle adult guidance to ensure that the child progresses toward a learning goal.
This program is open to children ages 2-5 and their parents.
Activities include:
Sensory exercises
Arts & crafts
Storytime's & singalongs... and more!
Guided focus: “Social and emotional competence
of children” (Helping children understand feelings)
Sessions end with a "family style snack"
that all participants will make together!
